In partnership with McGough, Horwitz delivered mechanical design-build services for Project Ice Castle, a 66,000 SF expansion of a wafer chip manufacturing facility. Our scope included installing advanced mechanical systems, such as standalone HVAC and utilities, to support 8,400 SF of Class 10 fab production space, along with preparing an additional 4,500 SF for future Class 10 fab production. By leveraging our in-house fabrication capabilities, we effectively navigated critical supply chain challenges, ensuring the project was completed on time.
