Over a successful 7+ year partnership with Michael Foods, a leading manufacturer of potato products, Horwitz served as the prime contractor for a $6 million process wastewater treatment plant project. This comprehensive project included self-performed work in high voltage power, low voltage controls, structural mezzanine construction, and complete piping for the filtration systems. Additionally, Horwitz managed the installation of owner-provided equipment, which encompassed drum screens, screw presses, tanks, membrane filtration systems, and chemical delivery systems.
