763-533-1900Designed to meet the growing healthcare needs of the Stillwater community, the new HealthPartners Lakeview Hospital & Clinic represents one of the region’s most significant healthcare investments. Once complete, the 430,000-square-foot campus will provide expanded access to care through a full-service hospital, clinic, emergency department, 14 operating rooms, and more than 100 patient beds.
Horwitz provides integrated mechanical, plumbing, medical gas, controls, and mechanical insulation throughout the facility. By delivering these critical building systems through one coordinated team, Horwitz is able to enhance collaboration, solve problems proactively, and deliver seamless solutions for one of the region’s most complex healthcare projects.
Supporting a project of this scale and complexity requires extensive coordination across trades and project partners. Through BIM coordination, proactive planning, and transparent communication with Kraus-Anderson, HealthPartners, and the broader project team, Horwitz helps deliver a safe, efficient, and highly coordinated project.
Strategic Planning & Prefabrication
Early planning and prefabrication have been key to maintaining project momentum and schedule adherence. Horwitz fabricated and tested several multi-trade riser rack assemblies offsite— including two 56-foot-long vertical multi-trade racks integrating structural steel, piping, and insulation systems. This approach reduced field congestion, improved safety, and accelerated installation of critical infrastructure keeping the mechanical deliverables on schedule. Strategic material procurement and onsite logistics planning have played a critical role in keeping the project moving by ensuring materials are available when crews need them, supporting productivity and keeping Horwitz project scopes on schedule.
Upon completion, HealthPartners Lakeview Hospital & Clinic will provide expanded healthcare services, increased patient capacity, and a modern care environment designed to meet the needs of the Stillwater community and beyond for decades to come. The project reflects Horwitz’s comprehensive and integrated approach to delivering reliable, high-performance healthcare environments through innovation, collaboration, and technical expertise.
